Jim Williams is Head of Market Research at Map of Ag. Jim has more than 25 years’ experience in market research and research-driven marketing sectors specialising in the agriculture, veterinary and food supply chain sectors. Jim has expertise in data analysis, market potential modelling, customer segmentation, profiling, brand awareness, brand development and marketing strategy.

He is the architect of Map of Ag’s Farm Structures Model, which is a widely used industry tool for predicting trends in the dairy sector and also Types & Traits, which helps predict farmers’ attitudes and behaviour to advice, technology, risk and reward, research and teaching. He is passionate about ensuring young farmers and those new to farming get every opportunity to take forward best management practice to constantly improve animal welfare.
