Jude Roberts
BVM&S CertCHP PhD MRCVS, RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Cattle Health and Production
Jude qualified from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2003 and worked for 10 years in predominantly farm animal practice. She was a Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Farm Animal Studies at Cambridge University during which time she gained her Certificate in Cattle Health and Production.
She then went on to undertake a PhD in mastitis diagnostics whilst in clinical practice. Jude then worked as National Veterinary Manager in the Ruminant Business Unit at Zoetis (formerly Pfizer Animal Health) whilst also continuing to teach at Cambridge University as an Associate Lecturer before joining Map of Ag in 2020.
Jude’s role involves provision of technical advice relating to dairy herd health, welfare and management to the dairy industry including processors, retailers and their producers. Jude also does consultancy work within the pharmaceutical industry. She teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and provides CPD for the British Cattle Veterinary Association as well as directly to vets and producers.
Jude is experienced in all areas of herd health and disease control with particular interest in responsible use of medicines, residue avoidance, mastitis diagnostics and lameness and foot health.
