Map of Ag Achieves ISO 27001 Accreditation

Map of Ag’s vision is to be the most trusted global data platform connecting farms and industry. With trust at the heart of all business activities, the globally recognized ISO 27001:2013 certification further secures the systems and data which Map of Ag connects for the agrifood and agriculture industries.

The Pure Farming platform sorts, standardises and provisions permissioned data from multiple sources to help businesses and organisations be more effective. The platform provides complete transparency for all parties that connect data and provides control access for the data originator.

ISO 27001:2013 is the only auditable international standard that defines the requirements of an information security management system (ISMS). The accrediatation’s framework strengthens Map of Ag across the three pillars of cyber security: people, processes and technology. The accreditation applies to Map of Ag’s core technology platform and products including, Pure Farming, FarmMetrics and AgAssure.

As Map of Ag continues to grow, the ISO 27001:2013 system has the flexibility to ensure that focus on information security is maintained, requiring annual risk assessments to uphold the highest standards and maintain compliance.

Andrew Carrick, Head of Corporate Systems, Map of Ag said: “As a data business, ensuring cyber security is our biggest priority. We are proud to be recognised with the ISO 27001:2013 accreditation, ensuring that our customers’ data is protected. We work with some of the leading brands in the agrifood sector and take the responsibility seriously.”

Map of Ag knows that data drives businesses forward, and that data needs to be securely stored and managed. As Map of Ag customers, you can be assured that all data is being held to the highest standards of security and compliance.
