Map of Ag is proud to announce that our greenhouse gas (GHG) modelling approach has achieved ISO 14067:2018 accreditation with reasonable assurance from LRQA – providing independent confirmation that our products meet globally recognised standards for product carbon footprinting and align with IPCC 2019 agricultural methodologies.

Assurance for clients and partners

This accreditation gives our clients and partners confidence that the models, and therefore insights they rely on are scientifically robust and transparent. As part of this accreditation, Map of Ag will undertake annual reviews to reasonable assurance, ensuring our models continually reflect the latest evidence, data, and agricultural science.

Why accreditation matters for the industry

Food and farming supply chains increasingly require ISO-aligned, auditable GHG data to support credible sustainability claims and regulatory compliance. With evolving requirements under the Green Claims Code and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCC), ISO accreditation ensures the integrity of claims made using our data and models.
Where required, we also partner with independent bodies to verify project-level results (e.g. Harper Adams University), reinforcing traceability and trust.

Our innovative approach

LRQA’s assessment recognises the strength of Map of Ag’s approach which delivers:

  • High-resolution, field-level activity data
  • Systems-based, multi-annual and forward-looking GHG projections
  • Interoperability with other leading carbon calculators and standards

Unlike single-model providers, Map of Ag is model-agnostic — we operate a data-first platform that supports both our in-house models and external models, enabling customers to choose the right tool for their needs while benefiting from consistent, high-quality data inputs.

Building trust  across the supply chain

This milestone strengthens the confidence of organisations across the farming and food ecosystem, enabling them to plan and measure sustainability strategies with high-quality, verified data.

Map of Ag’s commitment is simple: deliver trusted, transparent, and future-fit agricultural data that supports confident decision-making across the supply chain.

Organisation using Map of Ag include:

Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Myton Food Group, M&S, Saputo, Long Clawson Dairy, Crediton Dairy, Trewithen, Welsh Beef & Lamb Partnership, Crisp Malt, Lakes District farmers, Barclays, and others.

Many other customers are using MOA data integration capability, where other GHG models such as Cool Farm Tool and Agrecalc are used.
