Ben McKenzie has joined the Map of Ag team as a Senior Sustainability Consultant based in Australia. With a passion for supporting Australian agricultural industries and producers, Ben joined Map of Ag to support industries and their supply chains to understand and improve their sustainability through the implementation of innovative, data-driven strategies. By harnessing high-resolution data, he will work with industries to progress towards their sustainability objectives and support their continuous improvement in environmental sustainability and farm and food security.
Prior to joining Map of Ag, Ben worked in one of Australia’s 15 research and development corporations where he focused on identifying new revenue streams for Australian agricultural industries. He also has extensive experience managing and supporting regenerative farms involved in carbon and biodiversity projects, developing on-ground experience in both sustainable agricultural management and carbon and biodiversity project implementation.
With a strong commitment to advancing sustainable practices in agriculture, Ben is passionate about helping Australian agriculture navigate the complex topic of sustainability and data management to achieve long lasting, positive outcomes for Australian industries.
